Terms and Conditions of Sunflower Entertainment
Calls, Emails and Bookings
Please call or fill in our enquiry form to check for availability,
If you require to book sunflower entertainment for your event/party then we will require you to fill in the booking
sheet on our contact page, this will confirm your booking for your party/event, but please do so as soon as you know
we are available as you may lose your date/time slot, plus this is also your confirmation booking.
Payments and Deposits
All
payments to be made by cash on the day or by cheque 10 days prior to the party/event date. If a cheque is agreed
and not received 10 days prior to the date of the event/party please call to discuss alternative payment,
ie cash on the day of the entertainment/event.
(With reference to a paid event/fete booking) if paying by
cash this payment must be made before we set up for the event/fete.
Please do not ask Sunflower Entertainment to
accept cheques on the day as we will have to refuse.
Please note when sending any cheque payments via post please
do not forget to let us know your booking date so we can place the payment against your booking, we will then
send you a receipt via email.
When we arrive at your Party
Sunflower Entertainment will
arrive 10-20 minutes before the party starts to set up our equipment and will leave at the time the booking
ends as agreed with the client, Please do not expect Sunflower Entertainment to stay extra time as there will be
a possibility we will have another booking to travel to. we ask for your understanding in this situation.
Please also make sure the children arrive at least 15 min before we start your entertainment as we don't want any children
missing out on the magic show if booking dotty the Clown.
Parking
Please ensure that
there is parking close to the entrance of the building/house, as we/I will have to carry heavy equipment for
setting up. Failure to do so may result in us/me not being set up on time. If the event/party is being held
outdoors please give us notice so we can arrange cover.
Please inform us of any
payments required for parking outside for your event as some council, university/college properties charge for parking.
Face Painting
The client is responsible
for informing parents of attending children that there will be a face painter or/and a balloon modeller at the party. Sunflower Entertainment will be unable to paint faces who appear to be suffering from conjunctivitis,
skin complaints or open wounds.
Travel Costs.
Please note: Party bookings outside the 5 mile
radius of Cardiff not only cover the price of fuel of which I take the cost from the RAC website but also a small cost which
covers my time travelling to and from your venue which in some cases can take up 1 hour 30 min of my time in total.
Sunflower Entertainment will travel up to 25 miles for your entertainment.
Bookings over £200 within
25 miles will not be charged for travel.
Mileage Charges
Within 5 miles of Cardiff Free
£5 from 5.1 to 10 miles
£15 from 10.1 to 15 miles
£20 from 15.1 to 20 miles
£30 from 20.1 to 25 miles
A notice to all Parents/Guardian
Please
ensure that there is an adult available at all times to make sure the children are fully supervised when the entertainment
is taking place otherwise this may spoil the show for the other children.
In addition it would be appreciated if parents/guardians
would keep their talking to a minimum when the magic show begins as this has been known to disrupt the show.
